How it hangs

Above the bed the picture group takes 50 to 75 per cent of the bed width. Along a corridor the centres sit at 160 cm, sheets 12 cm apart.

What you order

  • Framed, one specification — matte black wooden frame, plexiglass instead of glass, 40 × 50 cm, upright or landscape (algae and Eight Views of the Parlour 30 × 40). White, natural wood and dark wood on request.
  • Sold as a series — four to six sheets that carry a floor or a room category; a single motif repeated across identical rooms from 5 pieces.
  • Every sheet with its provenance — holding collection, accession number, original size, and a short text for the wall label or the room directory.
  • Printed on demand — a damaged sheet is replaced with the identical one, years later.
  • Delivered flat — sheet and frame travel together in one package and are assembled on site.
  • Sample — one framed piece at unit price, credited against an order of ten or more.
  • Lead time — three to five working days production plus transit; produced in eight countries, close to the building.

Unframed sheets run from 27 × 35 to 100 × 70 cm and have no minimum; the size ladder is in the Print + Framing Guide. Conservation framing by a framer — free choice of moulding, anti-reflective UV glass, conservation mounting — from 25 pieces, four to six weeks.
